TOPIC 2: Building a Sustainable Business Model

This panel discussion seeks to build on the discussions held at the inaugural Zim Hip Hop Summit (where we are as an industry and the general business understandings of the industry) and talk to ways artists can build business models that can sustainably support their art. Essentially, this is about shifting artists towards an entrepreneurial mindset. Business is no longer defined by 9 – 5’s and this industry requires creativity and innovation.

This panel talks to ways artists can build business models that can sustainably support their art. Essentially, this is about shifting artists towards an entrepreneurial mindset. Business is no longer defined by 9 – 5’s and this industry requires creativity and innovation.
